Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

At MANTABREW, we’re committed to offering quality products and responsible service. Please read our full policy below for details on returns, refunds, and warranty.

1. Return & Refund Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in like-new condition, unused, and in its original packaging with all accessories and promotional gifts included.

For orders that have been paid but not yet shipped:
You may cancel and request a refund. A processing fee of 8% will be deducted to cover payment platform fees.

For shipped orders:
Returns for non-defective products are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Products must be carefully repackaged to avoid damage during return shipping. Returns will not be accepted if the product is used, damaged, or missing components.

If you received a damaged or incorrect product, please contact support@mantabrew.com within 7 days of receipt with photo or video evidence. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

Please note:
We do not accept returns for products not purchased directly from MANTABREW or authorized retailers. Gift cards, sale items marked non-refundable, and opened products showing clear signs of use are not eligible for return.

To start a return, please contact us at support@mantabrew.com with your order number, proof of purchase, and reason for return. Returns sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

2. Warranty Policy

This warranty guarantees MANTABREW products to be free from defects in hardware materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year, including the scale body and modules (Module A & Module B).

Software and firmware are continuously refined to enhance performance, stability, and overall user experience.

As part of our commitment to improving your device, MANTABREW periodically provides over-the-air (OTA) updates.

Please Note: Like most smart devices, software or firmware behavior may vary depending on factors such as:

  • Usage environment

  • Operating methods

  • Specific brewing scenarios

 

These differences or adjustments are normal for software-based products and are not considered manufacturing defects. OTA updates are intended to improve functionality and may introduce optimizations over time.

Warranty claims are only accepted if:

  • You are the original purchaser.

  • You bought the product from MANTABREW or an authorized retailer.

  • You provide proof of purchase.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers manufacturing defects related to:

  • Physical materials

  • Hardware assembly

  • Hardware workmanship

If a covered defect arises during the warranty period, MANTABREW will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product, or

  • Replace the defective hardware component with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent functionality.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Software, firmware, or application-related issues

  • Firmware behavior, logic, or functional performance

  • Software or firmware updates, changes, or compatibility issues

  • Issues caused by normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic damage (including scratches, discoloration, or surface wear)

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper handling, unauthorized modifications, or accidents

  • Damage caused by third-party accessories or non-approved components

  • Issues resulting from use outside intended operating conditions

Software and firmware are subject to ongoing development and optimization and may perform differently depending on usage conditions. Such behavior is not considered a manufacturing defect.

To submit a warranty claim, please contact support@mantabrew.com with order details and proof of issue (photo or video). Once approved, we will arrange a replacement or repair.

Exclusions for Non-Authorized Purchases

This warranty applies only to products purchased through:

  • MANTABREW’s official website, or

  • Authorized MANTABREW retailers.

Products purchased through unauthorized sellers, second-hand markets, or private resales are not eligible for warranty coverage.

Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

  • Product serial number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photo or video evidence demonstrating the issue

MANTABREW reserves the right to request additional information to assess the claim.

Replacement & Return Conditions

In certain cases, MANTABREW may offer a replacement unit without requiring the return of the defective product.
In such cases, the customer may be required to disable, destroy, or recycle the defective hardware and provide confirmation (photo or video evidence) to prevent defective products from re-entering the market.

Shipping & Logistics

Unless otherwise required by local law:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning products

  • Replacement shipments may be subject to customs clearance delays or regional restrictions

MANTABREW is not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, or local regulations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MANTABREW shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of use, data, or business

  • Dissatisfaction arising from software or firmware performance

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and customers may also have other rights which vary by country or region.

Governing Law

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy shall limit or exclude any mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable local laws.
